The Nanai tribe dwell in the freezing area where Heilong River, Songhua River and Ussuri River cross in the northernmost region of China. Of their long history, the Nanai tribe believe in primitive Shamanism, worship the tree of life and Mother Nature, and firmly reckon that the souls of ancestors are immortal. HAKTKULIGIDA is the language of Nanai, and refers to black lance. The music of HAKTKULIGIDA is base on old-school black metal and the slight mix with traditional ethnic elements, which reminds listeners of Yn Gizarm (side-project of Zuriaake). HAKTKULIGIDA sings in original language of Nanai, glorifying the epic stories of hero Morengen, Shamanic culture, mother nature and ancestors.
