This track blends a vibrant dance-pop sound with addictive hooks, incorporating internet language such as “click,” “screenshot,” and “emoji” to add a playful sense of humor. Moving fluidly between self-expression and satire, KATSEYE transforms the chaos of internet culture into a bold, distinctive concept that is unmistakably their own.
“Internet Girl” arrives from global girl group KATSEYE, Daniela (Cuban and Venezuelan American, Atlanta), Lara (Indian, New York), Manon (Ghanaian Italian, Zurich), Megan (Chinese American, Honolulu), Sophia (Manila), and Yoonchae (Seoul). Built through the K pop methodology system, the sextet has earned GRAMMY® nominations for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo or Group Performance for “Gabriela,” and recently wrapped their first ever sold out debut tour in support of their EP, BEAUTIFUL CHAOS (HYBE x Geffen Records), which debuted top five on the Billboard 200.
