集體模像 DUPLICATE COGNIZANCE [AT-021]

ASJ announces “集體模像 DUPLICATE COGNIZANCE”, following her debut album “The Road to Become One” in 2018. “集體模像 DUPLICATE COGNIZANCE” depicts ASJ’s accumulated layers of inhabited ideas that shapes the fabric of what she perceived.
It is a concept of the mind, a depiction of the higher force beyond the physical with constant changes. The expression between the place of dreams and reality. Hence, finding balance in the chaotic state of mind.
Cognizance, knowledge and awareness deeply dwell in the subconscious, that created ‘the personality’ on three aspects, physically, emotionally & mentally.
With vivacious drums & sonic pattern combining with distinctive musical structure. Putting together her introspection about various moments in her journey and the concept of the powerful mind, she transforms the intangible into tangible. From vocally to sonically propel into musical pieces in a robust manner.
ASJ wants her composition to act as a motivator that guides the audience to an emotional and reinvigorating journey.
The LP opener “遺忘OBLIVION” started off with a gradual rise of synth and drum brought about a sense of gradual learning experience through pain. Pain is the driving force to oblivion, the first layer to destruction, as we experience pain we learn to let go and forgive.
The second track “恆久 ASSIDUOUS” summons a transcending energy that guide one to continuous searches for the soul. Perseverance collide with challenges and gradual transcendence.
The major single “清醒夢 LUCID SATORI” is about the curious encounter ASJ had in a memorable awakening dream. It is a trigger of emotional and physical awareness that awakened her learning experience. Facing her fears in a lucid dream of not enable to wake up remind her to take control of one-self and let go of control and manipulation.
“業 Karma” is created based on the cycle of cause and effect, similar to the law of attraction. The uses of reverse samples, repetitive synth filling and drum build up pattern act as a boomerang shifting through spaces just like Karma itself.
“潛意識 SUBCONSCIOUS” is an orchestral piece that reflects ASJ’s subconsciousness, the emotional violin samples used act as an emotional triggers to her ups and downs actions, the rapid drum pattern changes act as her running thoughts and the song transition represented her rapid changes of moods and feelings.
“接合 COALESCENCE” celebrates collectiveness, human connection and relationships. The mellow and sweet vocal brings out the harmonized side of life.
The LP summarises with the second single “闡示曲 DISCLOSURE”- a candid reminder of self that prompts ASJ of the importance of honoring our presence and appreciating our own existence.
The awakening experiences of ASJ gave her a significant meaning in “闡示曲 DISCLOSURE”, guiding her to believe in herself again and thus coming close to her true identity, which is symbolic of a significant shift to her reality that the song trying to disclose.
