This CD is 20 tracks of typically beautiful music from the master of Japanese movie soundtracks. The movie itself tells the true story of Sakamoto Tetsumu, a boy, who at an early age went to Thailand to learn to be an elephant trainer. In the process he dies in Japan while trying to build an elephant park. That's it! The big promotion point here is that Shining Boy And Little Randy is the follow-up movie of Yagira Yuya, the kid who won best actor at the Cannes Film Festival last year for his performance in Kore-eda's Nobody Knows.
