Soil, the debut album from New York-via-Maryland singer serpentwithfeet, is astounding, as it surrounds Josiah Wise’s arching voice with audacious electronic orchestrations that compound the feelings of which he sings. And now, he has pulled the layers back on Soil Reprise, a two-track EP that reveals a pair of songs in piano-and-voice form.
