Nothing Out Here

So here we are - three years later, holding a CD, a real physical CD (which is a luxury in these digital media dominated times) - the debut album of Nigel Good called Nothing Out Here on a Silk Music label. For an artist to reach a point of an album release usually means a closure of one chapter and a beginning of a new era. I find debut albums the hardest to judge as there is no firm reference point. However Nothing Out Here stands out already after the first full listen - there is a well defined atmosphere, with an aftertaste if I may put it this way. Pardon the cliche, but it indeed leaves the feeling of a summer, the careless moments, the vintage take on simple but priceless memories.
