Brenga Astur was founded in 1994 by Asturian musicians. Their aim has always been to give people a knowledge about the Asturian Celtic folk music in different ways: from a more traditional perspective, to a folk and even folk-rock point of view.The group always shows its Celtic spirit by offering music from the eight official Atlantic Celtic Arch Countries: Ireland, Scotland, The Isle of Man, Wales, Cornwall, Brittany, Asturies and Galicia. Obviously, most of the music they play is the Celtic folk music from their own country: Asturies.
