In November 2021, DAXMA present their second album “Unmarked Boxes," an intimate work of conscientious introspection inspired by and named for the 13th century Rumi poem. Their last EP, “Ruins Upon Ruins,” wove through bleak atmospherics and monolithic power, and was called "an emotional, darkly delicate and starkly beautiful post-doom record" by Angry Metal Guy.
"Unmarked Boxes" explores grief, depression, longing, hope, and the process of overcoming through crushingly heavy guitar tones, layered orchestration and lush melodies. The towering and ambitious "Unmarked Boxes" will be released worldwide on digital, CD, and gatefold double vinyl by Blues Funeral Recordings and Majestic Mountain Records.
