Sketchbook 94

Eight songs that were commissioned in 2017 for an earlier script of the film Art College 1994 by director Liu Jian. Since then the script underwent many transformations and ultimately only retained two of the original scenes. To celebrate the world premiere of the film in the main competition of the 2023 Berlinale (which features the songs "The Artist" and "The Visionary"), we wanted to release this group of songs that scored another version of the film in a parallel universe.
