Uneasy Lies The Crown

This summer, London's The Domino State release their hotly anticipated debut album 'Uneasy Lies The Crown'. The album comprises live favourites, previous single 'Firefly' forthcoming single 'We Must Not Shut Ourselves Away', and new numbers like the poignant 'Pompeii'. Influenced in equal measure by early 90s shoegaze (Adorable, MBV, Ride) and the energy of post punk (The Sound, The Chameleons) The Domino State create a massive, bristling, effects-driven live sound, which is ever-present on this album.
The album release comes after numerous prestigious support slots including the O2 Arena with Coldplay and tours with M83 and Longview. The band's previous single "Firefly" (Popfiction Records) was released last summer and was picked up instantly by iTunes and placed on their "what's hot" compilation featuring their pick of the latest UK releases.
