简介
"Bounce" is a song by Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, taken from her debut studio album The New Classic (2014). It was written by Azalea, Speedy Jay, Talay Riley, Oladayo Olatunji, Natalie Sims and Reeva & Black, and produced by the latter. Developed as a song for the summer, it served as a departure from Azalea's previous releases; sonically and lyrically. Initially, Azalea did not want to release the song as a single, nor feature it on her album. Her record label, and mentor Nas, felt otherwise, and as a result Azalea went ahead with the release and the song subsequently appeared as one of three bonus tracks on The New Classic. "Bounce" premiered on 27 April 2013 on BBC Radio 1. The song was released on 24 May 2013, as the album's second single in selected international territories. Following several release delays, "Bounce" was made available in Ireland on 5 July 2013, and in the United Kingdom on 7 July 2013. The track draws influence from club and pop-rap music genres, and features Azalea rapping at a fast pace upon a pulsating house beat. Lyrically, the song contains themes of celebration, enjoyment and dance. It chronicles Azalea's lesser seen playful side and is about being care-free.
