简介
Made in a bedroom 1999 these mixtapes were never really finished.
Lyrics written and performed by Tom Hardy. Music written and produced by Ed Tracy.
Before Tom Hardy was an internationally renowned actor, taking the silver screen via films like The Dark Knight Rises and Bronson, he had aspirations to be a rapper. In an interview with BBC Newsbeat from 2011, Hardy revealed that he began rapping at “14 or 15,” and even had a recording deal before eventually moving into acting. “I've recorded loads of stuff but it's never been released,” he said at the time. Now, it seems, the day has finally come.
Edward Tracy, a BAFTA-winning television writer and director, has uploaded a mixtape of Hardy’s unfinished recordings to Bandcamp. Hardy recorded under the name Tommy No. 1; Tracy, going by the moniker Eddie Too Tall, produced the beats. Check out the mixtape below. Pitchfork has reached out to reps for Hardy for further comment.
