Los Angeles-based electronic outfit Goldroom make dreamy, synth-based electronic dance music.
Formed in 2011, Goldroom is primarily the alias of electronic producer/songwriter Josh Legg, who previously fronted the similarly inclined trio NightWaves.
As Goldroom, Legg released the self-produced Angeles EP in 2011. In 2013, he returned with the seven-track EP, Embrace, featuring vocalist Chela.
Also in 2013, Legg added drummer Nick Sandler and keyboardist/vocalist Mereki Beach, transforming Goldroom into a live three-member ensemble.
Legg took to Instagram to share his excitement for his album release. “3 years of sitting alone with my guitar, 50 demos sitting in my album playlist, dozens of songwriting sessions with friends and talented collaborators, what feels like years of producing and tweaking and trying to get everything just right - they've all lead here,” he captioned.
