Culture Club was the first band since the Beatles to achieve three Top 10 Billboard chart singles with their debut album. By the time the band's second album Colour By Numbers was released in the fall of 1983, Culture Club was the most popular pop group in the world. The Boy George-led group racked up nine Top 10 singles in the US. In 1982 the band signed to Virgin Records and that same year the single 'Do You Really Want To Hurt Me' exploded as a massive breakthrough hit. This French release of that first single coincides with the CD and DVD release of the Culture Club's Greatest Hits. EMI. 2005.
