Rambling Man

简介
Still only 20 years old, young Laura Marling is one of the movers and shakers of the flourishing and highly incestuous South West London nu-folk scene. Although she's already produced two albums, her fame to date lies as much with her choice of partners. A relationship with Charlie Fink of Noah and the Whale (a band she was in at the time) ended so badly for poor Charlie that he devoted the car crash second album to it and she's also admitted to sharing corn flakes with Marcus Mumford of Mumford and Sons. You can hear elements of the brooding music of Marcus and the boys in forthcoming single Rambling Man, a song that bubbles away with simple acoustic rhythm before boiling over as percussion and banjo are added. But best of all is Marling's voice, like a young Joni Mitchell, plaintive and burring. Lovely.
