Orizen is a Black/Pagan Metal band from Switzerland and was formed in 2005/06 by Richard Leishman. The Name of the band is a mixture between "horizon" and "Urizen", a tragic character of the English poet William Blake. The musical vision of Orizen is to combine the dark and raw of Metal with the harmonies of classical music. In 2009 a first self produced CD "The Path into Revelation" was released. Until now the band has been a one man project of Richard Leishman, but Orizen is currently being formed to a complete group.
