Hollywood Records has released the original song Applause from the anthology film Tell It Like a Woman. The track written by Honorary Academy Award-winning songwriter Diane Warren and performed by Sofia Carson is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Tell It Like a Woman is comprised of seven segments directed by female filmmakers including Catherine Hardwicke (who also directed the song’s music video), Taraji P. Henson, Mipo O, Maria Sole Tognazzi, Leena Yadab and Lucia Puenzo. The drama received an awards-qualifying theatrical release this past October by Samuel Goldwyn Films and is expected to receive a wider release in early 2023.
