The LP was produced by Joe Chiccarelli (the White Stripes, Beck, the Strokes) and recorded in France with his touring band, Boz Boorer (guitar), Jesse Tobias (guitar), Solomon Walker (bass), Matthew Walker (drums), and Gustavo Manzur (keyboards).
