Leaves' Eyes组建于2003年，由Theatre of Tragedy(挪威)的主唱Liv Kristine和Alexander Krull领导的乐队Atrocity(德国)组合而成，理由很简单，因为他们俩成了夫妻。也成就了一段妇唱夫随的乐坛佳话。Liv Kristine此前一直担当Theatre of Tragedy的主唱，乐队先是专注于gothic metal，之后开始向industrial rock方面转型，03年7月Liv Kristine与Alexander Krull完婚，但就在一个月后Theatre of Tragedy便在官网上公然宣布与Liv Kristine决裂，理由是音乐理念不同无法继续合作。Liv Kristine与Theatre of Tragedy彻底断绝了关系，之后便有了Leaves' Eyes。
