The music of New Line Cinema’s “Shazam!” was scored by Benjamin Wallfisch, the Golden Globe®, BAFTA®, 2x GRAMMY® andEmmy® nominated composer whose career spans over 75 feature films, recently including the critically acclaimed BLADE RUNNER: 2049, and the most successful horror film of all time, IT. Wallfisch has created a vibrant soundtrack to the film, which tells us we all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In this case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM! —a streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam, courtesy of an ancient wizard. Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana.
