Los Angeles duo Simon James and Dan Hastie resurface with their Woolfy vs Projections project: ‘Combination’ is the first single from their upcoming third album Stations. It will not only see them return to their Munich label home Permanent Vacation, but also finish the trilogy they started with 2008’s The Astral Projections of Starlight and 2012’s The Return of Love. The trilogy’s story revolves around the tale of lost astronaut Captain Starlight, who continues his adventures — on ‘Combination’ his expeditions lead him onto sticky synth planets, shooting out intergalactic fluids in bubbly disco manners; and Permanent Vacation co-founder Benjamin Fröhlich even discovers high-pitched alien voices in his spooky edit of the single.
