Caught Up

Millie Jackson’s "Caught Up" is one of Soul music’s most acclaimed albums of all time. Consistently in catalogue for over 30 years, it’s been available on a Southbound CD since that label’s inception. Now, after 15 years, it’s getting a well-deserved makeover that will introduce the album to a whole new generation of potential MJ fans, as part of a general upgrading of Millie’s Spring catalogue.

Fresh mastering from the original Spring album production tapes is further enhanced by the addition of previously unheard alternate vocal takes of three "Caught Up" era classics – plus the much-requested instrumental track to Millie’s Northern Soul favourite ‘House For Sale’, all specially mixed for inclusion in this package.

Extensive annotation that includes Millie’s own recent reminiscences on the "Caught Up" sessions, and many previously-unseen photos together with memorabilia from the period, help to ensure that Ms. Jackson’s still-massive fan base will have much to celebrate in addition to the bonus material.
