简介
出现在照片上长着翅膀的精灵，预示着又有什么事情要发生在汤米和塔彭丝身上了。警察局长的突然拜访，带来一项重要的任务:汤米要以西奥多·布伦特的名义开办一个侦探所，要特别留意那些贴着俄国邮票的蓝色信封的信件，邮票的背面会有数字16，更重要的是，如果有人来到办公室提及数字16，不管是谁，都要立刻通知他“你可以随心所欲地管理该侦探所”，警察局长走时留下了的这句话。于是推理小说中的名侦探们轮番上阵，布伦特卓越的侦探大师们解决了一个又一个案子，只是那个代号16的人，却姗姗来迟。
