The book takes data statistics for past TOEFL examinations and filtrates 4150 core vocabulary words which are frequently used. It creatively categories according to disciplines and sense groups to realize associative memories on vocabulary and let the memorize method networked. Each word has explanation in OTEFL and corresponding synonyms. For key words, there is one or more model sentences from foreign dictionaries. In addition, the book contains pictures related to the meaning of vocabulary with visual associative memories. After learning words of a page, readers may follow the list to recite in order to consolidate what they learn. Nine steps of exercises and 400 questions help readers examine the effect of learning and promote their understanding about TOEFL vocabulary.
