The Navy

This inspiring Collector's Edition was compiled by the Naval Historical Foundation to preserve and promote the full range of naval history and tradition. Beginning with the sea battles of the Revolution—backdrop to the famous battle cry "I have not yet begun to fight,"—and moving on to expanding maritime commerce of the mid 1860s, the pre WWII cruisers, the two Ocean war that followed, up through the nuclear-powered carriers of the Cold War, and submarines of the "New World order", this tribute to the navy celebrates over two centuries of tremendous service and innovation.
