仳加費塔是16 世紀時隨著葡萄牙船隊來到菲律賓的義大利學者，本片敘述他帶回一個菲律賓工匠，敘述他跟著仳加費塔回到義大利的故事。故事反轉了魯賓遜和星期五的關係，是塔西米克關於殖民者與被殖民者關係的後現代想像。

Pigaffeta is an Italian scholar fleeting to the Philippines with Portuguese sailors in the 16 century. The film tells the story that he brought back a Filipino craftsman and this man became the first Pilipino traveling to Europe. Tahimik’s whimsical imagination reveres the relationship between Robinson and Friday, and is the postmodern imagination of the colonizers and　the colonized.
