讲述的是纪录片工作者蒋能杰再次回访自己跟拍三年的山区学校，山区学校孩子80%是留守儿童，留守儿童从小没父母的陪伴，梦想却真实的存在。
其中访谈了村小二年级的孩子，他们的梦想、与父母的关系、他们的生活等却让人辛酸，让人反思...... 。
