Visions of Frank (2007)

This is a collection of 9 short animations of Jim Woodring's "Frank" made by 8 different animation filmmakers. The stories are taken from the Frank comic. Each piece is a collaboration between Jim, the filmmaker, and musicians from Japan and the USA. 3DCG, paper craft animation, clay animation, iron sand animation, 2D. . . the production method varies, but the original and imaginative expressions that help to re-present the world of ""Frank"" seen through each filmmaker's eyes are mutual qualities shared between all works.
