华沙1956 (1956)

One of the most important titles of the black series of Polish documentary. During the seven minutes of the film the authors managed to capture the significant change which cam ein October '56 in the way of showing reality on the screen. First we see new building of Warsaw, rebuilt after the war. Modern districts and Palace of Culture. Then we see what's hiding behind them: destroyed tenement houses, zigzags of ruins around, Varsovian cavemen living among broken bricks, dust, collecting insects from the walls.
