A couple are in a car on the way to the woman’s mother’s house where they have been invited for a meal. She says: ‘Why don’t we drop in on Gran?’ – ‘Why?’ he asks. – ‘Come on,’ says she, ‘only five minutes, just to say hello.’ – ‘And then we’ll go?’ – ‘Of course – Mum’s waiting with dinner.’
