虔诚 (1967)

This is a beautiful short documentary in three parts by Szabo Istvan:
- All Soul's day in Budapest. The event looks not as a gloomy one but more as a social rite where people meet, greet each other and children play;
- shooting of a wartime movie: extras prepare for a mass scene about Jews being deported after having the David's cross knitted on their coats. With a gay swingjazz soundtrack;
- archive editing of shooting taken during the rebuilding of Budapest bridges destroyed in WW II
