Struggling to deal with his parent's divorce and constant abuse at school, thirteen-year-old Behmani lashes out. He finds solace in a group of older street kids. They treat him as an adult and as one of their own. He soon gets in over his head when he becomes entangled in their own complex lives. Not truly understanding the consequences of his involvement within the group and their affiliates, Behmani finds himself stuck

The imprisoned Iranian women’s rights activist Maryam is allowed to meet her family for seven days. Her husband and children beg Maryam to flee with them instead of returning to prison but she has not yet made her decision.
