子傑、浩天、神婆和珈豪四人前往島上一個隱世村落-赤坎村。村上渺無人煙，只得頹垣敗瓦，唯剩釀酒場裡的一對父女-華哥與小晴。

电视台开播午夜成人节目，市民疯狂追捧，为了准点观看节目不计代价。开心台的不文沾（黄霑 饰）主持一档成人笑话节目，其人名利双收，但是对待给自己写笑话的幕后英雄阿光（黄光亮 饰）却非常刻薄，与妻子楣（叶子楣 饰）联手克扣阿光的收入。爱上风尘女的阿光试图要回自己的应得报酬，最终与不文沾闹翻，投奔了开心台的对手高兴台担任策划。阿光在庙街发掘了唱咸湿歌的尹光光与不文沾对抗，大受好评。此消彼长，失去了阿光的不文沾却再也无法回复往日辉煌。开心台与高兴台的对抗愈发激烈，他们为了打压彼此，不惜请来不文沾和尹光光的妻子互相诋毁，节目一片混乱……

阿沾（黄霑）是靠老婆（沈殿霞）发家的某家公司的总经理，他虽然非常怕老婆，却时刻琢磨着背着她偷点腥。看上风情万种的贫女阿凤（李美凤）后，阿沾以高薪诱惑她，双方讲好一夜情人之后阿凤进入阿沾公司做高级公关，不想紧要关头阿沾老婆打来一通电话，沮丧的阿沾要阿凤先去公司做事，以后再找机会行欢。
阿凤刚入公司便招来一帮男同事大献殷勤，王小强（钟镇涛）虽也对她爱慕不已，却由于性格木讷老实，学不来同事们的那一手。阿沾几次借工作之便想与阿凤发生关系，都被老婆无意间破坏，王小强也无心插柳有了许多次与阿凤单独相处的机会，两人情感渐渐升温。阿凤在与王小强柔情蜜意之时听闻他最憎拿身体换取钱和利的女人时，心头一紧，而阿沾从没放松对阿凤肉体的追求。

Kui (Wong Ka Kui), Keung (Steve Wong), Chung (Paul Wogn) and Wing (Wing Yip) are four buddies who are all very enthusiastic about music. Together they form a band called Beyond. In order to fulfill his family's emigration dream, Kui works round the clock to earn money and exhausts himself to sickness. Keung wants to build a successful career, but only finds himself being framed by his boss. Chung's childhood dream was to become a police officer, but he is rejected due to his weak body. Wing wants to study music at Hong Kong University, but his girlfriend (Faye Wong) and her parents pressure him into medicine. Can they find their ways again through friendship and music?

Sammo Hung plays three different characters: Fatty, Fatty's father and Fatty's grandfather, Hung Kau. Fatty is a hotel worker, yearning for sudden wealth. Therefore, he, and his co-worker, enter the gambling world, to the dismay of his father. When Fatty hits rock bottom, the ghost of his grandfather resurrects to help him. However, Fatty learns that his grandfather was murdered, therefore, he will stop at nothing to avenge his death.

A large family decide that they must find a bigger place because their current flat is too cramped and triads are threatening to burn them down to pass a message on to somebody down the corridor. So after being mucked around by an agent selling a house in the country, they move into a dilapidated house. They then discover that it is going to be torn down and a huge shopping centre erected.
