影片故事的原素材是在日朝鲜人李珍宇，在种族歧视之下，精神空想到变态地步。不仅歼杀两名年轻女子，而且把经历写成小说参加报社征文，甚至在杀人之后还用平静的声音打电话给报社。在被判死刑后，一名在日朝鲜女记者与他通信，希望唤起他的民族意识。影片基于这样一个现实事件，但情节又几乎出离了故事本身。
影片一开始就是突如其来的处决R氏，也没有解释原因。行刑之后R氏居然没有死，只是丧失记忆昏迷过去。执行死刑的一干人等决定先恢复他犯罪的意识，再执行第二次死刑。于是，一干人等当场扮演R氏身边的人物，试图唤醒R的记忆，甚至扮演R的教育部长把突然出现的姑娘杀了。被害姑娘苏醒后成了身穿朝鲜民族服装的中年妇女，被R唤作姐姐，并夸奖R的民族意识、责难日本帝国主义。影片后半部分描写了R的想象世界。死刑执行人们围坐着举行酒宴，R和女人躺在他们中间，两个人的谈话内容正是李珍宇与朝鲜女记者的通信内容。R恢复了记忆，但始终认为自己没有犯罪，检查官决定释放他。当R打开门的一瞬间，他似乎难以忍受外面的阳光。检查官指责他的无罪意识的空想性质，并把国家概念置于R氏的自由想象之上。最后，R氏返回站在绞刑台上。
这是大岛渚开创低成本剧情片电影——1000万日元电影的开山之作。

Documentary filmmaker Kenjiro Fujii takes a look at the history of a distinctly Japanese brand of softcore pornography in this extensive examination of the "pinku eiga" genre (ピンク映画 Pinku eiga or Pinkeiga). For more than 40 years, so-called "pink" films have served as both a key source of revenue for the Japanese film industry as well as a launching pad for the careers of such mainstream filmmakers as Kiyoshi Kurosawa. After providing a detailed history of the still-profitable and popular genre through interviews with a variety of behind-the-scenes players and clips from such classic pink films as Fish Bait Boobies, director Fujii shifts his focus to the production of an upcoming pink film to offer a glimpse into the creative and stylistic evolution of the genre.

On a beach in Beirut, Lili and Michel meet… or maybe they are coming together again. An unlikely couple caught between two different eras, between a future and a past that seem possibly interchangeable, they are trying to establish what is an ambiguous memory: that of a terrorist act, an explosion and the loss of a child, Elena. The voice of a Japanese narrator adds a further layer of complication to their scrambled memories in evoking his own past in war-torn Beirut and the 27 years he spent alongside Palestinians as a member of the Japanese Red Army. Michel and Lili’s destiny seems subject to the mystery that this man, the legendary screenwriter of the Japanese New Wave, Masao Adachi, has created for them, and which he punctuates with a series of revelations.

Eric Baudelaire, artist and photographer, films on Super-8 the political and personal reflections of May, the daughter of the founder of the Japanese Red Army Shigenobu, and of Adachi Masao, the legendary experimental filmmaker who gave up film to fight for the Palestinian cause.
Like his compatriot Philippe Grandrieux, the French artist Eric Baudelaire has made a personal film about the history of the Japanese Red Army (JRA), an extreme left-wing group that took up arms in the early 1970s in order to realise the proletarian revolution. The JRA hijacked aeroplanes and in 1972 organised a raid on the airport of Lod, in which 26 people died. They also fought in Lebanon, with the People’s Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).
On the soundtrack, we hear the story of the Japanese filmmaker Adachi Masao, who lived in Beirut for years and at the time was spokesman for the JRA. Shigenobu May, the daughter of Shigenobu Fusako, the woman who founded the JRA, talks about her childhood in Lebanon and her many secret identities.
Baudelaire illustrates their stories with 8mm films that he made in Beirut and Tokyo, at the places where both were active. We also see clips from films by Adachi and newsreel footage of the attack at Lod and the arrest of Shigenobu Fusako in 2000.

Appalled by the killing in Vietnam, they set out to destroy capitalist power through world revolution, as leaders of the Baader Meinhof Group and the Japanese Red Army. Both groups headed to the Middle East to train with Palestinian freedom fighters and attack imperialism. Authors and journalists Bettina Röhl and May Shigenobu explore the lives of their mothers, Ulrike and Fusako, providing a unique perspective on two of the most notorious "terrorists" in contemporary history. On the run or kidnapped when their mothers went underground, May and Bettina emerged from difficult childhoods to lead their own extraordinary lives. May is half-Japanese, half-Palestinian. She grew up in Lebanon and hid her identity for 28 years for fear of assassination. With capitalism once more in crisis ...

　　重松清的小说《鸢》将首次被改编成电影，小说曾经获得“大家所选选角川文库感动第1位”。影片将由濑濑敬久([天堂的故事])执导，阿部宽和北村匠海([念念手纪])在影片中扮演父子，故事讲述了在80年代的日本，市川安男是一个在货运公司工作的职员，他的妻子市川美佐子刚刚产下他们的儿子旭，然而一场意外，让美佐子失去了性命。安男与身边的人们为了保护旭，他们决定不告诉旭他母亲的这场意外，影片将于2022年日本公映。
