Dimonstr saves Sasha Chyornyy and four runaway orphanage children from the police and bandits. Dimonstr is now just Dmitriy, the manager of a car dealership, his son Dima has grown up. Family life is not conducive to pranks, the Dimonstr remained in the fairy tales that the father tells his son at night. But the monastery is again restless. Four children from the orphanage end up there - two sisters and two brothers. Dasha, the eldest, is not the first time organizing a family's escape from an orphanage. And once again they are caught. But this time they went for robbery, and the police cannot leave this without punishment. Realizing that this will break the boys, the investigator, on his own responsibility, decides to send them to the monastery to Father Anatoliy for re-education. But the small, daring group will prove to be a much tougher nut to crack than Dimonstr and Sasha Chyornyy once were.

Ivan, who just turned 50, has two daughters: the eldest, the heroic Mary, and the youngest, the novice sorceress Sophia. Everything in Belogorie goes on as usual, but the visit of the sorcerer Severin, who dreamed of a terrible disaster, brings confusion to the measured life of wizards. To save both Belogorie and her own father's life, Sofia will have to go to Moscow of the past, where a young and unsuspecting Ivan still lives, and Marya will have to fight evil in the city itself.

Now that Ivan is about to turn 21, he is now grown up and finally old enough to marry the beautiful Vasilisa. But when Vasilisa is kidnapped and trapped in modern Moscow, Ivan and his friends must travel to the present day to rescue her.

The series is set in 1961. Cameraman Viktor Khrustalyov is in a difficult situation; he is suspected of being involved in the death of his friend, talented screenwriter Kostya Parshin, who committed suicide during a drinking-bout. The authorities try to put Khrustalyov in prison by any means. Viktor needs to shoot the comedy "The Girl and the Brigadier" in order to get permission to make the film "Shards" after the wonderful scenario left from his deceased screenwriter friend. Young director Yegor Myachin wants to adаpt this screenplay. Khrustalyov arranges him as a trainee to the venerable director Krivitsky for a comedy. In the same film act Khrustalev's ex-wife Inga and his young sweetheart Maryana, with whom Yegor Myachin is also in love.
