Thanks!What I'm working on now: I just finished my second book, a modern paranormal mystery. I'm in the process of pitching to agents. I also started its sequel. I've shelved my historical mystery which needs an almost-complete rewrite. I'll get back to it. I also have an idea for a novel set in the NC mountains (paranormal mystery) that keeps gnawing at me. What I used to do: Work as a game writer for ICE and White Wolf. I published about 15 pieces with them, ranging from 2000 - 30,000 words (Kinfolk may have been longer). Alas, White Wolf closed, and I've lost contact with most of my writer buddies there. (Contact me if you're out there!)NOW: I've teamed up with some pals from NaNoWriMo and attended Crime Bake 2016. I plan to go to Bouchercon 2017. I've been busy with my "full-time" career as a college professor and associate dean for teaching and learning. I look forward to writing more and administrating less....What I want you to know: People sometimes ask what I think my best work was. Usually, I tell them "Kinfolk" or "Uktena," but I think my best *evil* work was in Book of the Wyrm, 2nd edition (Pentex), and Book of the Weaver (DNA). I was so angry at some of the co-workers at the research firm where I was employed at the time I was writing (who were doing rather unethical things), I made them into bad guys in these books (all physical descriptions and names changed, of course). Sweet, sweet revenge...
