.hack follows several young players as they navigate the vast, mysterious MMORPG known as “The World” – a place, it turns out, that is sometimes impossible to leave.

And why do airplanes that fly over them turn into giant imperial carp? An investigator's normal methods don't apply when reality itself no longer applies.

The Space Kittens Pozi and Nega gave little Yu a magic baton and for a year she possessed the power to transform into grown up idol singer Creamy Mami and use her magic for good. ここは千代田区にある 気象庁／特異生物部／対策課・ 通称【気特対】 。
人々の生活をおびやかすM災害に日夜、対処している課である 。
トイレでは何やら対策本部部長・久里浜（松重豊）と課長の室町 （ 皆川猿時 ） が明日からやってくる新人の話で盛り上っている。
気特対室でも機動班・班長灰田（高橋一生）、ベテランオペレーター山際（ 松尾諭）、新人オペレーター森橋（中村靖日）らが、久々の若き 女性新人の配属に話題はつきそうもない。機動班4年目である朏（尾野真千子）だけが教育担当を任され、ひとり浮かない顔である。
翌日、気象庁駐車場の気特対ワンボックスカーでは新人・藤澤さくら（石橋杏奈）が朏を待っていた。保管されたＭがいなくなったという報を受け、筑波の気象研究所へと向かうためだ。これが、これからパートナーとなる生意気そうな新人・さくら と朏の 出会いであるが、二人はこれから起こる顛末に、力を合わせて立ち向かう事をまだ知らない。
他にも気特対にはさまざまな人間がいる。依頼を受け配属された数学者・案野（加藤貴子）もその一人である 。
彼女は奔放な閃めきでMの実像に迫る。

The story takes place over a 24 hour period. In the southernmost part of Japan, 20 fishing boats of an unknown nationality suddenly fire upon and occupy parts of the Hateruma archipelago. Members of the Japan Coast Guard are detained. Under the extremely tense situation, the Japanese government sends Aircraft Carrier Ibuki and an escort fleet to the area. Ryota Akitsu is the captain of the Aircraft Carrier Ibuki and Toshiya Niinami is second-in-command. It is now 6:23 am. and Japan faces one day which they never have before.

新世纪之初不久某年的夏天，为了与父亲生活，逢泽步来到了距东京2小时火车车程的小镇。
步是不去上学的中学生。原因不明。似乎和什么样的理由都沾一点边，但又不是那种理由。觉得无论走到哪、无论做什么都无聊的步，来和父亲度过一个夏天，是因为母亲出的主意。双亲在他还小的时候离婚了，他和父亲也4年没有见面了。步并非积极地响应母亲的提案。对毫无朝气的步，妈妈提出要以买个山地自行车为交换条件，让他去和父亲见面。既然话都这么说了，步也不得不打起点精神。
这样步终于到了那个小镇。母亲说步小时曾来过一次，但他一点印象也没有。田菜——在围绕着广阔的水田的山的斜面的，似乎被农家钉子一样点缀着的小盆地。在看见这景象的瞬间，步就后悔来到这里了。因为无论从什么角度怎么看都是不变的田舍，实在是寒酸得要死。
然而，这么想可就大错特错了....

The Digital World is becoming so overpopulated that the super computer Yggdrasill who governs the Digital World can no longer handle it. Its solution is Project Ark: to wipe out most of inhabitants with the X Program. Yggdrasill chooses a very small percentage to be moved to a new Digital World and then proceeds to destroy the old one. Some Digimon who were not chosen survive anyway, and they move to the new world with a rare gift known as the X Antibody; this antibody changes their appearance and makes them more powerful, while at the same time making them immune to the X Program. No longer in control, Yggdrasill uses the Royal Knights to destroy these X-Digimon, who are outcasts in the new Digital World.

「机动警察 Patlabor」的全新作品「机动警察 Patlabor REBOOT」制作确定。

《机动警察后期 OVA版》是由吉永尚之担任导演的日本动画作品，属于《机动警察》系列的OVA（原创动画录像带）作品分支。该作品于1990年推出，其内容延续了系列一贯的机械警匪题材与单元剧形式。在后续发行的纪念LD BOX版本中，插曲顺序与原始发售版本存在调整。

本作作为《机动警察》系列的分支作品，延续了原作动画中"特车二科"警队驾驶人型机甲执行任务的设定。导演吉永尚之此前已参与过系列动画的制作，此次OVA版拓展了该IP的衍生内容。
