　　另一部即将被翻拍为电视剧的经典电影则是1966年的意大利西部片《姜戈》，片中弗兰科·尼罗饰演的姜戈神秘冷峻，成为意大利电影中的经典形象。在其之后的许多西部片都将主人公命名为“姜戈”，其中也包括2012年昆汀·塔伦蒂诺执导的《被解救的姜戈》。电视翻拍版《姜戈》的故事发生于南北战争后不久的美国，其中不同阶层、种族之间的冲突矛盾则是影片的关注焦点。
