Sofia Jannok (born 15 September 1982) is a Swedish singer from Gällivare, Sweden. She mainly sings in Sami and does yoiking.
Sofia was born in 1982 and comes from Gällivare in the top of Sweden. She has always been singing and when she was about 11 years old she stepped onto the stage. Since that day she has been performing a lot with her music and also taken part in CD’s, music for film and TV, musicals and other nice events.

Sofia Jannok is a cool 26-year-old who sings in the North Sami language of the reindeer-herding people who live in the far north of Sweden, but she is certainly no traditionalist. She has a gentle, clear voice, and her original, mostly self-written songs include folk themes that reflect the grandeur of the Arctic wilderness, along with melodic and easy-going folk-pop ballads, and passages where she veers towards jazz improvisation.

Her solo project on cd with producer Svein Schultz was released in February 2007 and is called White / Ceaskat. Now she is working on an album with her band.
