This is a branded short film for Platinum Victory a property management service company. In conjunction with Valentines Day we've written a romantic love story set in their apartment where the manager of the management team Wilson and his encounter with a new tenant Hui Ling.

A new short film by James Lee. Director's Statement Since watching David Lowery's A Ghost Story (2017), I was totally amazed by the film, story, the music and of all the screen ratio. And my short film itself is inspired by he movie and also a good exercise to film and block for the 4:3 ratio. And the short film was also shot with no full finished script, so a couple of scenes were improvised, sometimes on location. Shot over 3 days on Sony A6400 with mainly an 7Artisans 12mm and a Sony 35mm.

电影早段平淡静穆的氛围，密云不雨，带点情绪的抽离，这不也是一众角色的生命请调吗？平静底下的躁动是抑制不来的，而漂亮的拍摄经营，造就了电影的冷漠和凄美，以及这一切过后出人意表的释然。
[导演阐述]
电影于2002年9-10月间摄制，主要拍摄吉隆坡最繁忙和发达市中心地的古老平房区，由一群跟电影中角色十分相似的年轻人租住。一群无精打采的年轻人，在城中过着单调乏味古古怪怪的生活。狭窄的居住空间，令侵犯隐私成为尝试，频密的亲密接触催生的又是什么？许多房客在戏剧艺术界工作，其中的两位就在此影片里扮演角色。我第一次去那里的时候就马上决定一定要拍一部关于那里的电影。从几年前些好的一个浪漫剧剧本改编成现在的剧本，故事不太一样，但是许多因素留了下来。它仍然是一部浪漫的喜剧片，只不过是以另一种方式。

李添兴
1973年在马来西亚怡保出生。本是剧场人，后来无师自通，专为拍摄实验录像短片。1997年进入电视圈，2001年派出首部数码录像剧情长篇《狙击手》。2002年，正式成立自己的电影公司Doghouse73 Pictures，制作其他独立电影录像。因为参与戏剧演出的经验影响，他的电影经常在表演和制作方面使用大量的戏剧因素

Life seems to be normal for the two protaganists a woman whose husband suddenly decides to kill her and a man who woke up with no clue what had happened, even though not related but the incident will put them two together in the same trail.

A trio of tales set in recession-era Kuala Lumpur. Tale 1: A lone sniper, Ah Loong befriends a red bean soup seller and tries to redeem his violent past. Tale 2: Steve, a retrenched worker is obsessed when he finds the rifle dumped by Ah Loong. Tale 3: Restaurant-owner, owing a gambling debt to thugs, is forced to pull a hit for them when he can't settle up. A mysterious, charismatic gun dealer links the tales.
