一群二十年代的俄国女孩及男孩因著革命而迁徙到他国, 继而加入Ballet Russes芭蕾舞团. 这个芭蕾舞团由俄人於1909年在法国巴黎创办, 然后迁到蒙地卡罗. 纪录片中有当年罕有的精彩舞蹈片段及不少珍贵的人物访问, 他们都是叱吒一时的芭蕾舞蹈家, 包括Irina Baronova, Tamara Tchinarova Finch, 及Tania Riabouchinskaya(以下的黑白照片便是三人当年作为Ballet Russes的支柱时摄), Frederic Franklin, Nathalie Krassovska, Yvonne Chouteau, Maria Tallchief, Alicia Markova等二十多人. 儘管对他们认识不深, 但看著他们的言谈, 对当年往事的忆述, 无不感动. 当中亦有不少具幽默感的舞者, 把生命及所经历的一一公告於世, 十分十分难能可贵.
