Dante (Felipe Kannenberg) está internado em um hospital psiquiátrico com diagnóstico de esquizofrenia. Ele não fala com ninguém, nem recebe visitas. A dra. Paula (Branca Messina), jovem psiquiatra, interessa-se por Dante ao vê-lo surtar no pátio do hospital. Disposta a desvendar as relações sociais do seu paciente, a médica faz uma série de entrevistas com pessoas que conviviam com ele antes do internamento.
