一本陈旧且写满批注的《谢雪红传》，驱使演员梁静与摄影师张士允向过往追溯。在逐步揭露的家族秘密中，梁静渐渐拼凑出母亲曹海安离去原因，察觉一个女人无可言说的渴慕、寂寞、拘束，以及爱情失落，终而踏上一条无人作陪的路途，以自己凋零生命，重新贴近并注解谢雪红。

Chun and Mei came to Taiwan from Vietnam to study. After arriving in Taiwan with hopes of furthering their education, they were dismayed to discover they had fallen victim to a scam exploiting their desire to study abroad. However, Chun tries to clarify the distinction between students aboard and foreign workers.
