《神探夏洛克》第四季将于2017年元旦回归BBC1，本季依旧为三集，标题分别为： 第一集：六座撒切尔像（The Six Thatchers）：编剧为Mark Gatiss，导演为Rachel Talalay； 第二集：倒下的侦探（The Lying Detective）：编剧为Steven Moffat，导演为Nick Hurran； 第三集：最后的谜题（The Final Problem）：编剧为Mark Gatiss和Steven Moffat，导演为Ben Caron。

年轻的伊丽莎白登上王位，她必须处理好各种重大的政治问题和自己的个人生活，两者之间的冲突往往超乎她的想象。

Rae is pleased to have the apparently fearless Liam as her best, platonic friend, but is surprised that he wants to keep his group attendance secret. This spells trouble for Rae when Liam's violent girlfriend Amy, said to have been expelled from her last college for assault, threatens her and wants to know why they spend so much time together. She gives her until Friday. Liam refuses to tell Amy the truth but Rae sees he is not so tough when he breaks down and they kiss. Archie is also given the ultimatum by
Lois to come out by Friday or else she will expose him. He suggests to Rae they run off together but she dissuades him and is pleased when Finn, anxious to resume a non-sexual friendship, offers to teach her self-defence. Come Friday Archie confesses to being gay to generally positive reactions whilst Amy crumbles when Rae tells her she kissed Liam. Back home Mum explains to Rae that she is converting to Islam as Karim, now a lollipop man, wants their baby born into the religion.

BBC版的《维兰德》是这部瑞典小说首次改编成英语电视剧。但是故事仍然是设定在瑞典的于斯塔德。而且剧组也是奔赴瑞典拍摄完成的。主角是肯尼思·布拉纳（《我与梦露的一周》中饰演奥利弗爵士，《哈利·波特与密室》中饰演黑魔法防御课老师吉德罗·洛哈特教授，还是《雷神》的导演）。他把维兰德人到中年的困窘、对受害者感同身受的同情、和内心的挣扎表演得细致入微、丝丝入扣。配角们的表演也都十分精彩。其中，汤姆·希德勒斯顿（《雷神》中饰演洛基）在剧中饰演了维兰德手下的心腹警探。第一季第一集中，尼古拉斯·霍尔特（《皮囊》《X战警 第一课》）还扮演了一个饱受父亲家暴折磨的男孩。
与快节奏、注重推理的《新福尔摩斯》不同，《维兰德》更加深沉，有种洗尽铅华的沧桑感，注重的是人文的关怀。办案的过程也更加贴近现实。每起案子，最引人深思、令人唏嘘的不是案子本身，而是案子背后的隐藏的种种玄机。就像《龙纹身的女孩》用少女失踪案折射了瑞典社会女性受侵害的问题，《维兰德》也是醉翁之意不在酒，而在反应瑞典社会各个层面上的问题，以及对人性、对人生的思考。

贾斯蒂斯·史密斯加盟出演，朱丽安·摩尔、塞巴斯蒂安·斯坦主演的苹果原创新片[骗子]。该片由苹果与A24联合制作，《王冠》导演本·卡隆执导，[侦探双雄]编剧布莱恩·盖特伍德、亚历桑德罗·田中操刀剧本。摩尔将饰演混迹于曼哈顿亿万富翁圈子里的骗子艺术家。斯坦将饰演马克斯，一个聪明的骗子，以执行复杂的计划和赚大钱而闻名。在电影中，他被卷入了另一个计划。

这部剧是《星球大战外传：侠盗一号》的角色前传剧，主角是反抗军同盟间谍Cassian Andor（剧中由Diego Luna继续饰演），讲述在反抗军形成期间他的冒险经历。
