Legendary Fighter: Yang's Heroine is a 2001 Chinese costume drama produced by Chinese Entertainment Shanghai Limited in conjunction with Taiwan Television, Singapore Press Holdings and China Film Group Corporation. The plot is based on the Generals of the Yang Family legends, focusing on the women in the stories.

The story follows Hunter and Yat, two new hot shot recruits, who under the watchful eye of their commanding officer, Yuk Pai, rise quickly through the ranks, enduring much mental and physical hardship along the way. Their new found skills are put to the test when renegade SDU member returns from seclusion in Thailand to wreak havoc on Hong Kong and the SDU's most secret missions.

TONG SHAP-YAT enters the underground boxing scene for money and learns Thai boxing with his brother KO WAI-TING in Thailand, a decision he regrets for the rest of his life. In order to turn over a new leaf, he withdraws from the boxing scene and finds himself a job as a security guard at a sports goods company. His outspokenness attracts the attention of his supervisor CHAI PAK-FAI.

The Yau Tsim Mong area, the core commercial area of Hong Kong, has recently experienced a series of robberies. Many jewelry stores in the area have been ransacked by gangsters. Police unit is given the mission to take the gangsters into a custody, but the operation is not so easy.

A fun-filled trip to Thailand turns out to be a deadly one for four best friends when they accidentally killed the sister of a local sorcerer. A previously successful entrepreneur, Mak Tai Song searches for his mentor's wife, Sheh Mo Lin and helps pay off her debt because he feels guilty for his mentor's death.
