好象《西雅图不眠夜》，大明星汤姆.汉克斯饰演的那位正在承受丧妻之痛的建筑师，因无意接受电台访问，而令收音机一头的女记者不知不觉爱上他，展开了一段相约帝国大厦的浪漫情事。其中，路易.阿姆斯壮的歌声就曾伴着男主角共度深宵，猛然间，那把粗砺沙哑的嗓音带着无尽的沧桑烘托出多愁善感的意境，而那首1929年的爵士名曲《Makin\' Mhoopee》也在瞬间焕发出新的生命力，直入人心。
又好象《廊桥遗梦》，一段发生在爱荷华小镇，国家地理杂志摄影师邂逅农妇短暂而永恒的爱情故事，变成如诗般的传奇。酷爱爵士乐的克林.伊士特伍德在执导之余，更为寻找适合电影故事背景的歌曲而乐在其中，结果，由黛娜.华盛顿演唱的那首《Soft Wind》为电影添色不少。这首歌恰如其份地将人带回到那个民风纯朴，悠然平静的年代，让人回味当时的一切美好。
再好象，香港名导王家卫荣获戛纳大奖的《春光乍泄》为呼应剧情，受用南美音乐作背景。巴西歌手卡娜塔诺.费洛索的一曲《白鸽》，于闲适风情中凸现出一份颓废的美感，一下子跃出银幕，让人因剧爱乐。

象唱片封套呈现的诱人蜜色，这张唱片中所有曲目几乎都有着浓郁而多彩的音响，甜美而鲜活的录音特质是来自五十年代末、六十年代初的黄金时期，是电子管时代留下的录音珍品。当然，千万别将它当作单纯的发烧片看待，品尝其中绝美的情调才是最重要的。
