A government program is trying to entice women to go to a remote island and become companions to war-scarred soldiers.

Within the confines of an insane asylum languish many would-be seers and messiahs. Medical students meet them day in, day out. But when Eve meets Don Wake, she discovers he's not your run-of-the-mill paranoic. In fact, his visions of her life on the outside tread the line between fantasy and reality as a stalker becomes known to her. She could be in danger; it could all be in her head.

Teenager Deacon works at a video shop, and his buddies, Fred and Matt, sell the bootleg porno films he acquires. Deacon gets fired, but the pals have the bright idea of filming their own Internet porn flick in order to make money and become more popular at school. Hijinks ensue as they cast and create their movie, but porn industry player Vic Ramalot grows jealous of their burgeoning success and tries to put a stop to the project.

根据加拿大著名轮椅运动员Rick Hansen的真实故事改变。1985年3月21日，Rick Hansen离开温哥华，开始了“Man In Motion World Tour”的轮椅环游世界壮举，在两年零度两个月的时间里，他驾驶轮椅穿越全球四大洲的34个国家，共行驶了四万公里，为脊髓损伤(Spinal Cord Injury, SCI)研究筹款两千六百万元，于1987年3月22日回到温哥华。他曾驾着轮椅登上中国的长城。他也成为令所有加拿大人敬佩和感动的残疾勇士。
现在，Rick Hansen是“ Rick Hansen Wheels In Motion基金会”总裁，继续致力于为与他一样遭受脊髓损伤病痛折磨的患者改善生活质量。Rick Hansen与他的轮椅运动教练Amanda结婚，两人婚后育有三个女儿。
