Kunjoottan, a village simpleton, is not allowed to go out of his house as his overprotective father dreamt of a mishap befalling Kunjoottan. But he escapes with his childhood friend to a city.

Aryan movie is all about Devanarayan (Mohanlal) who is a Brahmin priest who is falsely accused of theft and forced to leave his village in Kerala. He moves to Bombay where he gets drawn into the underworld through an ageing don Kareem (Goga Kapoor). Some interesting comment initially on Brahmin priesthood in Kerala, but halfway through the film goes haywire.

The Story revolves around Johnny (Murali) and Annie (Madhavi), a married couple.Johnny is a recurrent alcoholic. After an altercation between Johnny and Keshavan (N F Varghese), who is humiliated in front of his family decides to take revenge and hurts one of their kid.During required blood transfusion it is discovered that Annie's is suffering from a late stage of Leukemia and that she only has a couple of months to live. Annie fearing her kids well being gives then up for better future through adoption.

Conflicts between a father and son, when the unemployed son brings his love to the family without the consent of the parents.

Sreekrishnan unknowingly falls in love with the woman his best friend, Manikyan, loves. Though Sreekrishnan tries his best to woo her, she resists, leading to a battle that ensues between the friends.

Unemployed youth Appukuttan (Mohanlal) saves an heiress Chandra (Sukanya) and is mistaken for her husband. His juice vendor friend (Sreenivasan) also enters the fray and pretends to be Chandra's "husband" at her father's factory, while Appukuttan plays the same role in the hospital
