Peruvazhiyambalam is a 1979 Malayalam film directed by P. Padmarajan based on his novel of the same name. It marked Padmarajan's directorial debut and the acting debut for Ashokan who plays the central character Raman. The film is an incisive examination of how violence or totalitarianism works in our society; it dealt with disturbing questions relating to masculinity and how people adore and dread it at the same time. The Hindu described this film as one of the finest films in Malayalam. It won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Malayalam. The film was included in IBN Live's list of 100 greatest Indian films of all time.

Nirakkoottu movie tells Sasikala Varghese (Urvashi) who wants to find out about Ravi Varma (Mammootty) who is sentenced to death for the murder of his wife Mercy (Sumalatha) who is also Sasikala's sister. Journalist Sasikala covers and receives acclaim for the story of the once-wealthy but now death-sentenced convict Ravi Varma, for the cruel murder of his ex-wife Mercy, a beautiful model. A day before his scheduled execution, Ravi Varma escapes prison, and a deeper story that ties him, Sasikala and other characters unfolds in the events that follow.

Omanakkuttan is twenty-two years old and too lazy to hold down a job, which angers his father. His life takes a turn when he goes for his friend Sudi's sister's marriage and he marries her.

The Story revolves around Johnny (Murali) and Annie (Madhavi), a married couple.Johnny is a recurrent alcoholic. After an altercation between Johnny and Keshavan (N F Varghese), who is humiliated in front of his family decides to take revenge and hurts one of their kid.During required blood transfusion it is discovered that Annie's is suffering from a late stage of Leukemia and that she only has a couple of months to live. Annie fearing her kids well being gives then up for better future through adoption.
