Rediscovered in a basement in 1999, this silent film appears to be one of Clémenti’s most purely beautiful and concentrated works, at times recalling Brakhage and Eisenstein. - MUBI

Ayant réussi à maîtriser la technique et découvert toutes les subtilités de cette caméra géniale, je me lançais caméra à la main dans ma première fiction politique : À l'ombre de la canaille bleue, adaptant une nouvelle d'un ami poète tunisien Achmi Gahcem qui correspondait parfaitement au monde dans lequel nous vivions et qui fut mon acteur pour ce film.
